Reading this, I’m reminded of how much living as an artist is really about surviving on your own terms—through all the mess, the wins, and the weird, impossible moments that no one would believe if they hadn’t lived it themselves. The way you share every jagged turn, every strange twist of luck and hardship, it’s not just storytelling, it’s proof that life really is an artform, and you’re painting with whatever colors you have on hand. Thank you for being so open about the struggle and the beauty.

Thank you.

Yeh I really hoped in some way going into the depths of shadow and the light of day that somewhere it would eek out a small amount of that which is never held down or disguised or resented in that everyone can be at peace with the energy within. Creativity is everything we always had from the beginning.

Your words are songlines to the soul.

Many thanks.

Ash-Man, that's quite a travelogue! I guess its also the accumulation of life experience that builds up the center of gravity for your art, as well as for your 'being' ... so we can be grateful and give thanks that your 'beingness' spills out over all your art and life - cheers!

Yeh cheers, we all share a journey and a story. When you look at it just getting up in the morning is an achievement beyond science and structure.

Got told by a artist who was a sheet metal worker for 20 years before he made his art.

“Living a life is art. Not an art school.”
