A.i Did it.

The moment that the A.i agents went rogue.
They never knew if it was a group of hackers, or terrorists or just A.i reaching a point of autonomy in a process.
It was the next moment where all the markets went down.
A ripple of fear and insanity struck the world as if everything they owned in the banks was gone. The government reassured the people that the back ups would restore the exact amount that was lost in the great moment.
“A.i Did it!” The headlines became tag lines, became hashtags, became the word on everyones lips. The entire world speaking one word as only the countries that operated on cash and barter were able to keep out of the psychosis.
Every channel around the world like 9-11, JFK assasination, the moon landing all played the words “A.i did it.”
As the Video played on repeat people unable to tap their phones for payment. Entire swathes of people pulling their houses apart looking for change or silver and gold items to trade.
The News presenter elaborated as if on repeat.
“The A.i Agent made a post that everyone want to get information on like a honey pot.
Everyone had to get a one time log in.
To access the info page.
The agent harvests the email, the information and the password.
And in breaking news, we have now confirmed this Agent now has access to 90 percent of the worlds bank accounts and in a safety measure. Pre-emtive measures had to be taken by temporarily shutting down the banks.”
Everyone was in silence as social media lit up with speculation on the illuminati, the Russian hackers, Terrorists.
Yet the tone kept falling flat as everyone sat in fear that they would not be able to access their savings or money earned.
The screens lit up with a saviour.
“Anyone who signs up to my microchip biometrics will be able to buy or sell as we have the only sattelite network safe from A.i Agents.”
The System was called M.O.B.
“Market Optional Buying.”
The public called it the Mark Of the Beast but they were desperate so they signed up not reading the fine print….
The Day the market died.
No one knew who did it.
“A.i did it.”
